If you’re responsible for Amal Clooney’s hair, then we’d imagine that your CV is simply a picture of her sashaying through Venice at her wedding to Mr. Clooney. We’re not sure that’s exactly what Josh Wood-alumnus Miguel Perez presented when he agreed to set up his first standalone salon at The Ned, but we reckon we can’t be far off. His new salon features at the heart of the club’s new Barber and Parlour centre, which is handily open to the general public. Joining Perez are Cheeky, the uber-efficient mani pedi bar, along with Soho House favourite Cowshed (they opened their first spa in the—you guessed it— cowshed at Babington House), and the Powder Room, a make-up parlour led by Trish McEvoy Beauty. For the boys there’s Ned’s Barbershop, which covers everything from a quick trim to a wet shave and facial, while hotel guests and Ned members can also slope off to Ned’s Club Relax which features a 20-metre indoor swimming pool and a traditional Moroccan hammam. And if you spend more than £200 on treatments in the Parlour you can visit the spa as a day guest, too.
