The Kooples x Puma

Athletes have long been known for their natty sense of style, but retired basketball player Walt “Clyde” Frazier was definitely one of the first to take his fashion game to the next level. But despite the NBA’s players solid suit game, his biggest sartorial legacy will probably always be the Puma Clyde, the low-top sneaker created for him and named with a nod to Bonnie & Clyde, thanks to his ability to steal the ball from his opponents. Puma are refreshing the iconic design this season by collaborating with The Kooples on a grungier version of the classic shoe. Available in solid black and intense white leather, they’ve tucked a skull-head onto the back of the shoe, in a nod to the Parisian atelier’s DNA, making this the most rock and roll way to wear a trainer ever.
