When you hear the word “festival”, chances are you think of mud, tents and all-night philosophical conversations with strangers rather than champagne and canapés. Krug, however, have been quietly working to change that. Following the success of last year’s Krug Island concept, Krug Festival is returning under the nomenclature Into The Wild, which will transport guests to the beautiful wilderness of, erm, Hampshire, for a day of theatrical, open-fire cooking by Argentinian culinary maestro Francis Mallmann and champagne from the Krug portfolio. The evening will take place at The Grange, a gorgeous 18th-century country house, and will be accompanied by musical performances curated by music platform Mahogany. So unless you have some sort of aversion to beautiful settings, excellent music and bounteous food and drink fit for royalty, snap your tickets up now.
