Jenny Holzer at Blenheim Palace

If you haven’t yet come across Jenny Holzer’s work on your Instagram feed, you’re sure to do so after her exhibition this autumn at Blenheim Palace. Famed for her LED light work, projections and slogan T-shirts proclaiming lines like “Protect Me From What I Want” and “Abuse of Power Comes as No Surprise”, the American artist’s medium centres on the power of words. Softer, her exhibition at Blenheim Palace, will see her hypnotic projections cast across the façade of the famous Oxfordshire residence as part of a free evening event series which runs until October 10. Inside, as part of an exhibition that continues until New Year’s Eve, Holzer’s stone engravings are scattered throughout the rooms open to the public, along with new works featuring black mondo grass. If you love art but not art fairs, escape Frieze next week and check this out.
