Favourite Things: Sandra Choi

Sandra Choi, creative director of Jimmy Choo, has a thing about gardening—so much so that she brings seeds back from her travels and encourages her young daughters to have growing competitions. But what if there was just one gift she could give her girls? “A sense of curiosity!” she says. “I think curiosity about the world around you is the most important thing.” Choi’s wishlist for herself marks her out as a classic aesthete—she’s after art, a cherry-blossom tree and a be-spoke ring—but one item surprised us: driving lessons. “I hate parking!” she admits. “I sometimes even make my friends drive my car because I’m panicking about having to park!” Could car shoes be next for Jimmy Choo?
