A Taste of Cornwall at The Goring

If you love the seaside but find yourself landlocked this summer, head down to The Goring where Rick Stein and his son, executive chef Jack Stein, have collaborated with the hotel’s own Michelin-starred chef on their very own Taste of Cornwall summer menu. Perched on the veranda overlooking the hotel garden—which is both surprisingly big and homely, seeming more like an Oxford quad than a central London location—guests can enjoy the freshest fish, lobster and even Cornish lamb while sipping on cocktails including a “Poldark Punch”. The Goring famously hosted Miss Catherine Middleton the evening before she became the Duchess of Cambridge, and continues to welcome the Queen and her household for the Palace’s annual Christmas lunch, so you can expect standards to be thoroughly top notch (and with Rick Stein on board, the food won’t be far off too).
